Sana’a University and the Police Academy today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening academic, research, and training cooperation, exchanging expertise and knowledge, and promoting the mutual use of the scientific and human resources available to both institutions. The agreement seeks to contribute to the development of education, training, scientific research, and community service.
The MoU reflects the importance of integration among academic, educational, and security institutions, as well as the role of education, scientific research, and training in enhancing institutional performance. It also expresses the two institutions’ commitment to strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise and knowledge in areas of mutual interest.
The memorandum establishes an institutional framework for cooperation between Sana’a University and the Police Academy in academic, research, and training fields. It provides for the mutual utilization of the scientific, human, and knowledge-based resources available to both sides, supports the development of educational and training programs, promotes scientific research, and strengthens capacities and expertise in areas of common interest.
The MoU was signed on behalf of Sana’a University by Rector Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, while the Police Academy was represented by its Academy Rector, Major General Prof. Musaed Dhaifallah Al-Dhaheri.
The signing ceremony was attended, on behalf of Sana’a University, by Rector's Assistant for Centers Prof. Zaid Al-Warith, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law Prof. Mohammed Saad Nijad, and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Prof. Abdulmalek Issa.
The representatives of the Police Academy included the Academy’s Vice Rector's for Academic Affairs and Financial and Administrative Affairs, the Directors of the Graduate Studies and Training Colleges, and the Directors General of Planning and External Relations, Quality and Development, and Financial Affairs. The Ministry of Interior was represented by its Director General of Training and Qualification..
