In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Sana’a University has followed the claims circulated on certain social media platforms alleging the presence of missile launch platforms or weapons inside the premises of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University. The University categorically rejects and condemns these claims, affirming that they are entirely baseless and constitute serious fabrications and grave falsehoods aimed at tarnishing the reputation of educational institutions and undermining their academic and humanitarian mission.

The University emphasizes that the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, like all other faculties, centers, and facilities of the University, is a civilian educational and academic institution dedicated to education, training, scientific research, the preparation of medical and health professionals, and the provision of services to the community. It belongs to the entire Yemeni people and is not used for any military purposes or activities that fall outside its educational and health-related mission.

To expose these false allegations and baseless claims, Sana’a University invites all local, Arab, and international media outlets, satellite television channels, news agencies, journalists, and correspondents to visit the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences tomorrow, Sunday, 8 November 2026, to inspect the Faculty and its departments, classrooms, auditoriums, laboratories, and facilities firsthand, and to report their observations to the public with full professionalism, objectivity, and credibility.

Furthermore, the University calls upon the United Nations, UNESCO, the World Health Organization, and all other international organizations concerned with education, health, and human rights to assume their responsibilities in protecting educational and health institutions that carry out their scientific, research, service-oriented, and humanitarian mission for all members of the Yemeni people, across the entire nation.

Sana’a University holds the Coalition of Aggression historically and morally responsible for the damage inflicted upon the institutions of learning and knowledge in Yemen, and the resulting repercussions that have affected the course of education and development. The University reaffirms that science, knowledge, and human development constitute the fundamental pillars of national progress and the shaping of future generations.

The University further affirms that its mission will remain educational, research-oriented, and humanitarian, and that its faculties, centers, and facilities will continue to serve as beacons of science, research, and knowledge, dedicated to preparing qualified professionals and serving the community. Campaigns of misinformation, distortion, and fabrication will not deter the University from continuing to fulfil its national and academic mission.
