The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University conducted today the final oral examination in "Forensic Medicine & Toxicology" for fourth-year students in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program. This comes as part of implementing the semester assessment plan and aligns with the faculty’s commitment to advancing academic evaluation methods while strengthening students' scientific, practical, and analytical reasoning skills. The examination was held with the attendance and direct oversight of the Department Head, Prof. Nabil Al-Hammadi, who supervised the examination process and reviewed student performance assessments. He emphasized the importance of oral exams as a direct evaluation tool that reveals the depth of student understanding and their capacity for analysis, deductive reasoning, and disciplined scientific expression. The exam focused on measuring students' ability to link theoretical knowledge with practical application, analyze presented cases, and reach evidence-based scientific conclusions, alongside evaluating scientific communication skills and precision in formulating forensic medical opinions. The exam took place in the Department of Forensic Medicine at the faculty under precise academic organization and defined evaluation procedures. Standardized evaluation rubrics and clear criteria were utilized to ensure objectivity and equal opportunity among students, under the supervision of the Faculty Deanship, allowing students to complete their exams in an organized and conducive environment.
