*SANA'A, Yemen — October 4, 2026* — The Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sana'a University, convened today for its fifth regular session of the academic year 2026/2027. The meeting was chaired by Head of Department Dr. Taher Al-Hazmi, with full attendance from council members to discuss a comprehensive agenda of pressing academic affairs.
In a key academic development, the council formally approved the program specification documents for both the Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and the Doctoral degree in Psychology. Furthermore, members reviewed and authorized the awarding of several Master’s and Ph.D. degrees, finalized admissions for incoming doctoral candidates, and approved new Ph.D. dissertation topics, taking all necessary measures and academic decisions to support the candidates' progress.
