*Department of Agricultural Economics Reviews Master's Thesis Proposal by Rehab Al-Radhi*

*SANA’A, Yemen — September 22, 2026* — The Department of Agricultural Economics at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Sana’a University, hosted a seminar today to review the Master’s thesis proposal (Seminar 1) presented by researcher Rehab Yahya Zaid Al-Radhi. Her proposed study is titled:
"The Role of Civil Society Organizations in Capacity Building for Rural Women: A Field Study in Selected Districts of Sana'a Governorate."
The proposal was developed under the supervision of:

The review and examination committee comprised:

During the session, the researcher presented her research proposal, outlining the study's objectives, significance, methodology, literature review, theoretical framework, hypotheses, and proposed analytical tools.
The committee members offered constructive academic feedback to refine and enhance the thesis, culminating in the formal approval of the proposal.
The committee commended the researcher’s efforts and underscored the vital importance of the subject matter in capacity building for rural women, fostering their engagement in community development, and assessing the role of civil society organizations in advancing women's empowerment in rural areas.
The session was attended by faculty members, members of the Academic Quality Assurance Committee, and graduate students.
