Female students from the Graphics and Multimedia Department at the Faculty of ‎Computer Science and Information Technology, Sana’a University, conducted a ‎practical field trip to Dar Al-Hajar today, Monday. The trip, which involved second-‎level students, was part of the requirements of the Digital Photography course and ‎aimed to strengthen practical learning and bridge the gap between theoretical ‎knowledge and field practice.‎

The trip aimed to equip students with hands-on experience in applying digital ‎photography skills to document historical and architectural landmarks and explore the ‎aesthetic and visual features that distinguish Dar Al-Hajar, thereby developing their ‎artistic and creative abilities.‎

During the visit, the students applied various concepts and techniques related to ‎digital photography in a field environment rich in architectural details. They focused ‎on selecting appropriate camera angles, making effective use of natural lighting, ‎considering visual composition, and highlighting the aesthetic details of the buildings ‎and surrounding scenery.‎

The trip also provided students with an opportunity to develop their visual observation ‎and creative thinking skills and gain practical insights into producing digital images ‎that combine artistic value with documentary significance. In addition, it encouraged ‎them to use digital technologies to document Yemen’s cultural and architectural ‎heritage and highlight its civilizational identity.‎

This trip reflects the Graphics and Multimedia Department’s commitment to ‎promoting practical learning, linking academic courses with field experience, ‎developing students’ hands-on skills, and preparing qualified professionals in digital ‎photography, design, visual production, and multimedia.‎
