In an academic initiative underscoring the faculty’s commitment to nurturing medical talent and supporting promising professionals, Prof. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Shehari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana'a University, met with the top-ranking graduates of the 36th batch in the Bachelor of Medicine. The event featured commemorative photographs and the presentation of Academic Achievement Awards to the top students.
During the meeting, Prof. Al-Shehari commended the graduates for their exceptional performance and high level of academic and clinical excellence throughout their academic journey, expressing the university’s pride in graduating a cohort dedicated to serving the community.
Addressing the graduates, Prof. Al-Shehari stated: "Standing among the top of the 36th batch today is the direct result of years of dedication, perseverance, and rigorous study. Honoring you today reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting high achievers and fostering leadership in the medical profession."

He added: "The leadership of the Faculty views our top graduates and all alumni as the future leaders of the national healthcare system, holding high expectations for your contributions to advancing medical services in our country. I strongly encourage you to pursue advanced academic, clinical, and research pathways—including the postgraduate and specialized fellowship programs offered by the university—to remain at the forefront of medical science and serve as proud ambassadors of Sana'a University."
This recognition aligns with the Faculty’s strategy to support exceptional talent and equip graduates with the clinical and research tools necessary for professional success, reflecting the university’s belief in top scholars as key drivers of the future of medicine and scientific research in Yemen.
The Faculty remains dedicated to expanding academic and clinical opportunities for its graduates and facilitating their research and specialization goals to ensure continued excellence in serving the community and advancing the national health sector.
