Acting Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water, Mr. Adel Bader, emphasized the importance of developing the National Renewable Energy Exhibition Hall and equipping it to host the fourth exhibition. He noted that expanding the use of clean energy technologies is an important approach to meeting the needs of various sectors, particularly agriculture, which requires sustainable solutions to supply energy for productive activities.

He explained that the exhibition would provide an opportunity to introduce renewable energy technologies and their applications and strengthen communication among government bodies, academic institutions, and companies operating in this field. This would support the exchange of expertise and raise awareness of available solutions for expanding the use of clean energy.

For his part, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Rector of Sana’a University, stated that the project reflects the University’s commitment to strengthening its scientific and developmental role and harnessing its academic and research capabilities to serve the community by providing an environment that bridges theoretical knowledge and practical application and promotes cooperation with government institutions and the private sector.

He highlighted the importance of specialized exhibitions in introducing modern technologies and their practical applications and providing students, researchers, and engineers with opportunities to learn about developments in the renewable energy sector. Such initiatives contribute to developing national capacities, encouraging innovation, and promoting the use of sustainable technological solutions.

Sheikh Mohammed Mohammed Salah, Vice Chairman of the Yemeni General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Deputy Head of the Sana’a Capital Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed the importance of partnership among the private sector, government bodies, and academic institutions in completing the project and ensuring the success of the exhibition. Eng. Jarallah added that the hall would be ready for use in conjunction with the launch of the Fourth National Conference and Exhibition on Renewable Energy, scheduled to take place at the end of this year.

The 4th national exhibition is expanding its scope by incorporating electric transportation alongside renewable energy technologies. This will allow for the display of electric mobility solutions and related equipment, introduce visitors to associated technological developments, and showcase solar energy systems and their various applications.

The hall development and renovation project is expected to provide a suitable environment for hosting participating companies and organizations, displaying products and technologies, and organizing accompanying events. This will strengthen the exhibition’s position as a national platform bringing together government bodies, academic institutions, the commercial and industrial sectors, and stakeholders interested in renewable energy and electric transportation.

The launch of the project reflects the importance of cooperation among Sana’a University, the Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Water, and the commercial and industrial sector in providing the facilities needed to hold the exhibition and promoting the use of clean energy technologies and their applications across various fields.
