Evaluation Committee from the Center for Development and Quality Assurance Inspects and Evaluates Postgraduate Procedures at the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources, Sana'a University

​Today, the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources at Sana'a University received a field evaluation committee commissioned by the university's Center for Development and Quality Assurance. The visit aimed to review and evaluate the faculty's level of compliance with quality standards, academic procedures, and arrangements related to postgraduate programs.
​The committee was welcomed by the faculty's leadership, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Baseem Shayef Al-Kharbash, alongside the Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, Dr. Munsar Ali Al-Sabbari, and officials responsible for postgraduate studies and quality management at the faculty.
​Dean Prof. Dr. Baseem Shayef Al-Kharbash explained that this visit comes as part of the continuous commitment of Sana'a University and the Faculty of Petroleum to advance the academic and research standards of Master’s and Doctoral programs, and to adhere to the highest standards of quality and transparency in implementing postgraduate regulations. Al-Kharbash emphasized the faculty's full readiness to provide all necessary facilities and implement the recommendations issued by the Quality Center, thereby enhancing the faculty's outcomes and meeting the demands of the labor market and development in the fields of oil, gas, and natural resources.
​For their part, members of the evaluation committee noted that the field visit aims to directly inspect the academic records and files of postgraduate students, verify the procedures followed in approving research plans and defending theses, and assess the educational and research environment provided to researchers.
​At the conclusion of the visit, the committee commended the efforts made by the faculty leadership and staff in organizing files and academic procedures, indicating that a comprehensive report will be submitted containing the key findings of the visit and proposed recommendations to strengthen and develop postgraduate programs at the faculty.
