The Development and Quality Assurance Center (DQAC) at Sana’a University held a ‎meeting today, chaired by Prof. Huda Al Emad, Director of the Center, with the ‎participation of vice deans of faculties for quality affairs and Center members. The ‎meeting discussed and approved a unified mechanism for coding academic courses and ‎organizing their code sequences according to standardized criteria, with the aim of ‎harmonizing academic procedures and enhancing the quality of educational programs.‎

The meeting examined how academic courses should be organized and coded to ensure ‎consistency across faculties and academic programs. This mechanism is intended to ‎support the development of course specification systems and the organization of study ‎plans in line with academic quality requirements and approved standards.‎

Participants emphasized the importance of adopting a unified course coding mechanism ‎across the University’s faculties. Such a system would strengthen coordination among ‎quality assurance units, improve the organization of academic data, facilitate monitoring ‎and updating, and contribute to the development of academic procedures and the ‎enhancement of educational program quality.‎
